Savoring the Feast of France I'm a painter who likes to paint in the same places where my heroes (like Van Gogh and Matisse) painted. Collioure, France is just such a place. It's an inspiration to stand where Picasso stood and paint the idyllic old fishing village on the Mediterranean that gave birth to Fauve Movement. These first fauves were the "wild beasts"¯ painting freely in bright colors with wild abandon, who are my guides to painting and living the lifestyle I call LIVE ART. I love being immersed in the artists life, learning 
French, eating piles of mussels and oysters and waking up to the sparkling light to rise and swim at one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Life was never this satisfying until our discovery trip to Collioure.
